| Currently there is no systematic initiative in place for bringing Australian management skills into line with international best practice in managing for sustainability. This is despite policies and programs proliferating in various guises to address issues associated with sustainability. In almost all these cases, education in sustainability thinking and management has been lacking. Clearly there is a basic need for a simple ‘ how to’ educational methodology that harnesses the creative energy and resources of Australians, particularly in business, to prepare for a sustainable future.
